Since she began teaching Ganja Yoga from her living room in Toronto in 2009, Dee has been a leader and advocate for cannabis wellness. Trained in tantra yoga, Dee's mix of cannabis and yoga follows in the footsteps of the saddhus of India, who have blended cannabis and spirituality for thousands of years. As the first Western yoga teacher to offer cannabis-enhanced yoga to the public, Dee is excited and proud to see the spread of the practice to studios around North America. With a focus on building community and a gentle, relaxing yoga style, Dee prides herself on an inclusive class that is both anatomically correct and easy enough for a diverse range of body types and experience levels to practice. Today Dee teaches classes and retreats publicly and privately in and around the Bay Area. Her book, Ganja Yoga: A Practical Guide to Conscious Relaxation, Soothing Pain Relief, and Enlightened Self-Discovery is due out in April from Harper Collins One publishers.
